How can I reload java module

0

I need to reload java jdk without restarting.

I would like to replace shutdown -r with some type of source or something in the following:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:openjdk-r/ppa
Sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install openjdk-11-jdk
shutdown -r
sudo update-alternatives --config java
sudo update-alternatives --config javac

What would do that?
