Dragora installation issue [ Start Sector out of range]
I am a newbie to GNU/Linux. I am trying to install the Dragora distro on a partition on an old laptop i have.
Below is what i have done so far.
a. I have reduced the size of my windows partition using the Disk Management utility in windows.
b. I have about 70 GB of free space on my Hard disk
c. I have created a live bootable USB of the dragora image ( dragora-3.0-j586-alpha2.iso) using Universal USB (using the GRUB option)
d. When i boot from the USB, i finally end up at a prompt asking for Login and password. The documentation with the installation provided no login or password.
After 100's of random trys, i found out that the Login was "root" and the password was "dragora".
e. The little installation instructions asks for a primary partition to be created using the cfdisk command.
Now this is where i get stuck. Everytime i try to create the partition, it gives me a message saying "Start sector 946176 out of range"
Any ideas on what this message means and how i can get around it.
Also any pointers to a reliable online resource to help a newbie out will be appreciated
