RVM Installation Stuck - Kali Linux

0

I am working with Kali 2018.4 trying to follow this guide to install the Phishing Frenzy suite (I teach InfoSec and I want to demonstrate the tool to explain how campaigns are run). Here is what I have done so far:

curl -sSL https://get.rvm.io | bash

It prompted me to need to add root to the rvm group and I needed to source the rvm command so I ran the following

sudo usermod -a -G rvm root

and

source /etc/profile.d/rvm.sh

Then I went to install the specified version of ruby as indicated by the Phishing Frenzy documentation

rvm install 2.1.5

And I am now stuck on the following output. As of the time of writing, it has been on this step for 15+ minutes.

Warning, new version of rvm available '1.29.7', you are using older version '1.29.7-next'.
You can disable this warning with: echo rvm_autoupdate_flag=0 >> ~/.rvmrc
You can enable auto-update with: echo rvm_autoupdate_flag=2 >> ~/.rvmrc
Searching for binary rubies, this might take some time.
No binary rubies available for: kali/kali-rolling/x86_64/ruby-2.1.5.
Continuing with compilation. Please read 'rvm help mount' to get more information on binary rubies.
Checking requirements for kali.
Removing undesired packages: libssl1.1........................................|

Any ideas? It's a fresh Kali installation running on VirtualBox.
