System Administration on Android [on hold]
I'd like to kindly ask: where could I find a resource for learning System Administration for Android systems?
The context follows. I have some experience with Linux and I was thinking about installing Android x86 on a small laptop. But how "transferable" is a generic Unix knowledge on such a system? On Android, is it still openly possible to entirely customize e.g. the booting process, services, packages, etc....?
A source like "The Unix System Administration Handbook", but more specific for this OS, would be the best. Other examples can be the "Debian Administration Guide", aw well as the wonderful arch wiki. I am looking for something similar, but for this mobile system.
Thanks for the help and have a nice day.
Ps: I have already tried posting on reddit (Android, Android-dev), but it seemed to be off-topic. The same was for stackoverflow and android-stackexchange. I hope to be finally on the right place... :-)

This question appears to be off-topic. The users who voted to close gave this specific reason:
- "Requests for learning materials (tutorials, how-tos etc.) are off topic. The only exception is questions about where to find official documentation (e.g. POSIX specifications). See the Help Center and our Community Meta for more information." – Jeff Schaller, Michael Homer, terdon
If this question can be reworded to fit the rules in the help center, please edit the question.

I’m afraid that question also is off-topic here since, although Android uses the linux kernel, the whole system is not very POSIX-compliant… Unfortunately, I don’t know a good place for your question. And I’m afraid no such source exists, besides the source code of Android…

Yeah, sorry to disappoint you but it's doubly off topic here. First because we don't cover Android and because requests for learning materials are off topic here :/.

Are you sure it isn't on topic on Android Enthusiasts? Did you try and they told you it's off topic?
