Haven't you asked this question before? It's a VM. It doesn't have real RAM. Therefore it wouldn't make sense to have the simulated BIOS provide details of the non-existing physical RAM.

Haven't you asked this question before? It's a VM. It doesn't have real RAM. Therefore it wouldn't make sense to have the simulated BIOS provide details of the non-existing physical RAM.

I installed Redhat 7.6 in VM Machine and write dmidecode command.
here you can see DMI type 17(which is RAM Details) is missing. i don't understand why missing?

Why dmi type 17 is missing in reheat 7.6?

Haven't you asked this question before? It's a VM. It doesn't have real RAM. Therefore it wouldn't make sense to have the simulated BIOS provide details of the non-existing physical RAM.
