Why my cronjob is not sending the emailbody and where shoud i setup my cron file?

I have a script which sends me an email with some contents. when i run in the directory it works fine...But when i run it in cron job am not getting the body of my mail..Where should i set up my cron in linux...Please help me...I am working for past two days..
