Reverse incremental search does not work in mariadb

I use mariadb 10.2.8-5 on Centos 7.5.1804. The problem is that the key shortcut Ctrl-r does not work on mariadb shell to search through the history.



It works fine on bash. Also, it works on mariadb 5.6.x.



Is there some config that should I enable?
