i cant find a shell
I keep getting this error:
crosh> shell
ERROR: unknown command: shell
This is the platform I have
Version 58.0.3029.140
Platform 9334.72.0 (Official Build) stable-channel x86-alex
Firmware Alex.03.61.0735.0056G3.0021
I want to completely delete the chrome os and put a linux or gnome os on since my laptop is no longer supported. I have a samsung xe500c21 chromebook series 5 3G, can anyone help with this issue

Under what circumstances do you get the error? Is it you that try to use a command calledshell
, or is the system trying to do that (when?). How does the first part of your question connect to the second part?
